Community members are urged to attend one of a series of forums on a Bill that will be presented to NSW Parliament to permit voluntary assisted dying for people who are terminally ill.

The first forum will be tonight (Wednesday 26) at the Berry School of Arts from 6.30pm.
Other forums will held at the Gerringong Bowling Club on Saturday July 29 at 2pm, the Kiama Pavilion on Sunday July 30 at 2pm and the Bomaderry Bowling Club’sSunrise Room on Monday July 31 at 7pm.
State member for Kiama Gareth Ward organised the forums and a bipartisan working group has presented a Bill to the NSW Parliament to permit voluntary assisted dying for people who are terminally ill, 25 years or older and whose illness will lead to their death within 12 months.
The Bill will be a conscious vote for each Member of Parliament and will take place in the spring session.
