The assembly was well-attended by parents and guardians of students, who were thrilled by the performance.
Before the assembly, local Aboriginal Elder Paul ‘Poppy Mac’ McLeod led a smoking ceremony to cleanse the school grounds and those within it.
During the week, all students explored Cave Beach.
At Cave Beach, they played Indigenous beach games and did pipi dances to find seafood near the water’s edge.
