Nowra CWA is hosting a beanie competition and a pies, peas and potatoes lunch.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the lunch at the Nowra CWA rooms on Tuesday, July 25 and buy a hand knitted beanie.
Organiser Barbara Grant said a range of creations will be for sale and on display.
“There’s one for children, heavy wool ones and lots of different sorts,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to getting together and see how clever we are at knitting different beanies.”
Nowra CWA member Lynn Grady will judge the top three beanies. There will also be a prize for the best beanie and scarf combination.
Anyone who would like to buy a beanie is invited to head along from 10.30pm. Prices range from $15 to $35 and there will be around 15 beanies for sale.
A local ukulele group will be playing from 1.30pm.
Lunch will be served from 12pm. The cost is $10. Contact Barbara on 4422 4426 by Sunday to book your spot.
