Shoalhaven Councillor Nina Cheyne and Old Erowal Bay resident Graham Brennan will meet on Thursday to work towards a reduction in air pollution in town.
Mr Brennan suffers from emphysema, and for the sake of his health, and the health of fellow residents, wants to see less smoke pollution from households that use old fireplaces.
Mr Brennan, who has been at odds with his neighbours for many years on the topic, hopes to work with council, and believes that his meeting with Cr Cheyne could be a giant leap forward.
