ULLADULLA Gymnastics Club had a great time at the recent 2017 Gymnastics Country Championships, held in the Hunter from July 6-10.

They had some incredible performances from their level four and level five athletes, with the standout performance coming Annabelle Healey, who competed in the tough level five division one.

She came away with 10th overall and had a fantastic performances on the vault (seventh) and bars (11th).

Club mates Tegan Ricketts (women’s level four - silver overall), Brodie McCluskey (women’s level four – silver overall) and Charlotte Dedden (women’s level five, division four - 33rd overall, 22nd bars) all performed strongly too.

The championships saw gymnasts compete across six gymsports – acrobatic, men’s artistic, rhythmic, team gym, trampoline and women’s artistic gymnastics.

‘Multi-gymsport events such as this one showcase the diversity of gymnastics and demonstrates that gymnastics truly is a sport for everybody,” Gymnastics NSW CEO Aaron Bloomfield said.
