Athletes star for NSW Country teams

SEVEN of Shoalhaven’s top football talents are this week showcasing their talents for Country NSW in Coffs Harbour at the National Youth Championships. Sophie Emery, Bronte Trew, Bronte Wright and Jasmine Tan are in the 15 girls NSW Country team, while Zoe Anderson, Tara Baily and Poppy Tay are in the 14 girls team.

In other news, Southern NSW will be holding trials for the 12, 14 and 16 girls and 12 and 15 boys sides to play at the State Titles, held from September 25-29. All girls teams along with the 12 boys will play in Mudgee, while the 15 boys will play at Valentine Sports Park. Trials to be held on Friday, July 21 and 28 from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Also, the Shoalhaven football teams trials for the 2017-2018 season will be conducted on the Sunday, July 15 and Sunday, July 30 at Ison Park. Times are; 12 Girls 9.30-10.45am, 14 girls 11-12.15pm, 16 girls 12.30-1.45pm, 12 boys 9.30-10.45am, 13 Boys 11-12.15pm, 14 boys 12.30-1.45pm, 15 boys 12.30-1.45pm.
