Do you ever head off on holiday feeling guilty about leaving the fur baby in a kennel or cattery? Well Lonely Pets Club knows how you feel. They are currently looking for new franchisees on the South Coast to join their team.
Directors Justin Cofield and Jo Gault founded the company in 2003 when they saw a need to offer pet owners an alternative to putting their pets into catteries and kennels. They firmly believe most pets experience less stress when they stay at home.
So what exactly do Lonely Pets Club offer? “We are a mobile pet feeding and dog walking service,” Justin says. “When pet owners go away, we collect their mail, make sure no one has broken in, walk dogs, feed all pets, clean kitty litter trays, pick up dog poo and just give lonely pets lots of human contact and interaction.”

“We can also water plants and tend rubbish bins,” Jo says. “We also provide a dog walking service for when you are at work or simply cannot do the dog walking yourself. We give pet owners peace of mind when they go away, knowing their furry family members are in reliable hands”.
Lonely Pets Club is Australia’s largest pet sitting company, and is looking to start up franchises on the South Coast to join those already up and running in Melbourne and Perth. “We have established our systems, policies and internal processes over the last decade to help ensure that we handle all enquiries and bookings professionally and competently,” Justin says. “We are looking for people who absolutely adore pets and want to work close to home, spending their days with the pets they love.”
