Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was threatened with an axe in Nowra on Monday night.

About 8.30pm, a 22-year-old man parked his car in a driveway of a home in Kameruka Street where he was attempting to deliver a pizza.
While attempting to contact the occupants of the home by phone he was approached by two men.
He wound the driver’s side window down and one of the males walked towards the window carrying an axe while demanding money.
The driver immediately drove away and reported the matter to police.
The two men have only been described as being aged between 15-19, and at the time of the incident one was wearing a dark baseball hat with a red and white bandanna covering his face.
The 22-year-old man was not hurt in the incident and no property was stolen.
Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command are conducting further inquiries and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that could assist.
