O’Hara claimed the first of three wins on board the Allan Kehoe trained Yulong Baohu, who had made the trip from Wyong, in the DMAX – Built From History Class 1 Handicap over 1400m.
She then teamed up with Warwick Farm trainer Jason Coyle, to win the MU-X – Go Your Own Way Maiden Handicap over 1100m with Lady Moochi, before backing up in the following race to steer Vain Elaine to victory in the Country Motor Company Nowra Cup over 1600m.
O’Hara settled the mare at the rear of the field. Having given the frontrunners a huge lead, she started her run at the 600 metre mark and began to make her way through the middle of the field. With 100 metres to go, the mare started to reel in the leaders to claim a half-length victory over Brogue, second, and King’s Officer, third.
