The group received a $30,200 grant recently from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.
President Bob Williamson and shed member Peter Taylor said the money will allow the group to connect power, water and sewerage to the 24m x15m shed that will be built soon at Greenwell Point.
The land has been made available by Shoalhaven City Council, and with the development application now approved, the group hopes to start construction in the next two months.
Mr Taylor said funding for the shed has primarily come from the NSW Government, via Shelley Hancock, Dick Smith, members of the shed and the public, and now, the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.
