The Milton physiotherapist left her home in Esperance, Western Australia a few years ago, bound for a new start in Sydney.
After meeting Glen McDonald at a Bondi pub in 2012, her home soon became the South Coast.
The pair tied the knot on Saturday, May 6 at their Milton home.
One-hundred-and-twenty guests, including Amanda’s parents Fiona and David Osborne from WA and Glen’s parents, Malcolm and Roslyn McDonald from Milton, turned out to celebrate the special day.
Bridesmaids Sarah Hendriks, Paige Graham, Anna Biven and Anna Hanson travelled from WA, while a little closer to home, locals Tim McDonald, Andrew Burcher, Ivan Hales and Sam Walklate were groomsmen.
Amanda and Glen said their favourite part of the day was having everyone they love share it with them.
“Being married in our backyard at Milton with a beautiful outlook over Frogs Holla and having everyone there to share it with us was so special,” Amanda said.
“We had the most beautiful sunset on the night.”
Amanda thanked all the local providers who helped bring the day together, including Pilgrims who catered the event and photographer Dean Dampney from CloudFace Photography who captured all the love.
The pair is currently enjoying their honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
