Close-fought wins and a draw were the highlights of the latest round of Group 7 rugby league played last weekend at Lyrebird Park. The away teams, under 7’s, 8’s and 9’s also played well in closely contested matches.

The U15 Warriors had a strong, confidence building win over Bomaderry 48-6. The boys exhibited a solid commitment by playing well throughout the entire game. Toby North, Zaid Forrester and Zane Mahoney all stood out for The Warriors in attack and defence.

Welcome to the club’s three female players new to the Warriors this season. The girls (under 7’s and Under 11) are gaining confidence week by week and are certainly holding their own in the male dominated game. Team coaches are impressed with their training commitment and their dedication to the game.
