A 46-point third quarter has helped the Bomaderry Tigers secure their fourth win of the season, defeating cross-town rivals Nowra/Albatross Vikings 11-8.74 to 5-6.36.

Despite falling behind by 14 points at the main break at Artie Smith Oval, the hosts outscored the visitors 60-8 in the second half.

Goal kickers for the victors were Phil Cowan, Ben Girling (both three), Paul Stevenson, Josh Laptha, Tyson Sue and Leslie Wardle.

In the loss, Nathan Darvil (two), Jeremiah Lenisaurua, Tim Green and Jake Evans kicked majors for the Vikings.

Best on ground for the Tigers were Girling, Jeremy O'Byrne, Tom Hines, Lukr McCann, Sue, and Michael Coulter.

Other first grade results saw Kiama Power defeat North Districts 30-17.197 to 4-4.28 at Bonaira Oval, Wollongong Lions defeat Figtree Kangaroos 18-13.121 to 8-9.57 at Figtree Oval and Wollongong University Bulldogs edge out Shellharbour City Suns 15-10.100 to 13-12.90 at Keira Oval.
