The seminar will be held on Friday, May 19 at the Wesley Centre on Berry Street.
Guest speakers will be Shelly Harpur from Elder Abuse Helpline and Resource Unit and Margaret Brothers, from Seniors Rights Service.
Constable Tony Jory from the NSW Police will also be in attendance.
The seminar will get underway at 10.30am and continue until 12.30pm.
No booking is necessary and morning tea will be served at 11.30am.
Empower yourself with knowledge of your rights, learn where to seek assistance, know how to respond if someone discloses abuse and understand the various forms of elder abuse and the signs that it is happening.
