Jockey Kathy O’Hara rode a winning double when she firstly combined with trainer Paul Cave to take out the Hotondo South Coast benchmark 60 handicap over 2200 metres aboard Red Viking.
Later she steered the Scott Singleton trained So Blessed to victory in the Murphy Family Funerals three year-old maiden plate over 1200 metres.
Apprentice jockey and Irish import Robbie Dolan is off to a flying start after he notched up his fist win on Australian soil at his first attempt. Dolan combined with trainer Mark Newnham to ride Victory Anthem (NZ), who took out the Flamingo Florist maiden plate over 1400 metres.
