NSW RFS Assistant Commissioner Stuart Midgley said the brigade has been tirelessly serving the community since the 1940s.
“The brigade attends incidents ranging from structure fires, motor vehicle accidents and bush fires, to assisting other emergency services with storm damage and searches in the Royal National Park,” he said.
“Whether it is responding to local incidents across NSW or assisting interstate, the Bundeena Brigade is always ready to lend a hand.”
Member for Heathcote Lee Evans thanks the volunteers and their families for ongoing support.
“The Bundeena Brigade remains a strong establishment in the community and I know these volunteers will continue to serve their local community and the broader community of NSW for many years to come,” he said.
