Tammie Denise Peters, 40, had been living in Bellambi for the last two months since returning from Queensland.
Peters had one warrant out for her arrest over an alleged assault of police in Sydney in 2014.
Police facts tendered to the court allege she “threw a half-eaten piece of KFC chicken at head level in the direction of police”.
“The chicken narrowly missed six police officers standing in the vicinity.”
She then allegedly picked it up and threw it in the face of one of the officers.
Peters was also wanted on another warrant, relating to the alleged assault of a didgeridoo-playing busker in Wollongong Mall in 2014.
“The chicken narrowly missed six police officers standing in the vicinity.”

Police allege she kicked the base of the busker’s didgeridoo while he was playing it, leaving him with “a swollen cut lip, soreness to his gums and a chipped tooth”.
On Saturday night, police went to the Cabbage Tree Hotel after being told Peters was there.
The police facts tendered to court state she was found in the poker machine area and was escorted outside, where she was handcuffed due to police fears she might try and escape.
At Wollongong police station she allegedly told officers she had some crystal meth “down her bra”.
A search allegedly revealed a plastic bag containing 0.36 grams of a “clear crystallised substance”.
She allegedly denied having any further drugs in her possession but a further search uncovered another baggie with 0.26 grams of the same substance.
As well as the warrants, Peters was charged with possessing a prohibited drug.
Police prosecutor Sgt Shannon Ryan opposed bail due to the fact Peters had failed to appear in court on previous occasions.
Representing herself, Peters said she needed to be out on bail to look after her 12-month-old daughter.
“I 100 per cent give you my word that I will turn up to court,” Peters said.
“I’d like to get back to my daughter though.”
Peters was refused bail and will appear in court again on Monday, May 1.
