Charlee Glover, 13, attends North Nowra’s Havenlee School and lives with a range of disabilities.
Recently the Bomaderry, Nowra, Gerringong and Minnamurra Lions Clubs combined to provide her with a walker, which cost approximately $7,000.
“We were informed about Charlee through the Lions Foundation who work alongside the people who supply the walkers,” Bomaderry Lions Club member Bruce Murphy said.
“When we gave her the chair it was the first time she could move herself.”
