THE Bomaderry Tigers have suffered their first defeat in the 2017 South Coast AFL competition, losing 14.7-91 to 7.4-46 to the Shellharbour City Suns.

In the loss at Artie Smith Oval, the goal kickers for the Tigers were Ben Girling 2, Jack Boxsell, Matt Hickmott, Matt Farrow, Josh Lapatha and Tyson Sue, while the best players were Polman, Tom Hines, Jeremy O’Byrne, Boxsell, Luke McCann and Courtney Ward.
Cross-town rivals Nowra-Albatross Vikings, also suffered a heavy defeat at the weekend, losing 22.19-151 to 7.5-47 to the Wollongong Bulldogs.
Other first grade results saw Wollongong Lions edge out Kiama Power 10.5-65 to 9.6-60 at North Dalton Park, while Figtree Kangaroos outlasted Northern Districts 16.12-108 to 9.5-59 at Figtree Oval. In round four action, Bomaderry will take Kiama at Bonaira Oval, Vikings will play Lions at North Dalton Park, Bulldogs host Figtree at Keira Oval and Shellharbour take on Norths at Jock Brown Oval.
