Shannon, a professional basketball coach and Jaimee, a PE teacher, met while playing the sport at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2006. Eleven years later, on Saturday, April 15 the pair tied the knot.
They were married at Terara Riverside Gardens, surrounded by 120 of their family, friends and two-year-old daughter Millah Seebohm.
Bridesmaids were Kate Denyer, Lauren Dwyer and Shannon’s sister Kate Seebohm.
Groomsmen were Reece Potter, Fergus Hamilton and Tyson McGrath.
Jaimee’s parents Lyn and John Kennedy from Nowra and Shannon’s parents, Heather and Peter from South Australia, attended the celebrations.
Jaimee, originally from Nowra, and Shannon, who hails from Millicent in South Australia said the day was ‘perfect’.
“For me it was all wonderful but saying our vows would have have to be my favourite part,” Jaimee said.
“For Shannon, I think he would say his favourite part was the photos because he got a moment alone with me.”
The Sydney-based couple spent a few days in Gerroa following the wedding and plan to enjoy their honeymoon later in the year.
