A Sussex Inlet man who pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying a prohibited drug has been jailed for two-and-a-half years and ordered to pay $6500 under the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Act.

Chad Oxford, 45, was one of 44 people been charged as a result of Strike Force Croci, a crackdown on illegal drugs in the Shoalhaven.
The seven-month operation netted police more than three kilograms or 25,000 street buys of methamphetamine or ice valued at $2 million, three kilograms of cannabis, five firearms, and cash.
Oxford appeared in Nowra District Court on Thursday before Judge Ian McClintock.
He pleaded guilty to two charges of supplying prohibited drugs indictable quantity in Parramatta Court in April last year.
Court documents said as part of the operation Oxford was observed and recorded providing prohibited drugs on four occasions between December 2014 and January 2015.
Police said that on January 15, 2015 Oxford was responsible in supplying quarter of an ounce of ice at a Sanctuary Point property for $2900.
Court papers said he also supplied a quantity of ice worth $3000, That deal took place at a sporting oval at Sanctuary Point behind a local shopping centre.
Two other charges of supplying a small quantity of a prohibited drug between December 18, 2014 and January 14, 2015 were also taken into account during Oxford’s sentencing.
Judge McClintock sentenced Oxford to two-and-a-half years’ jail with a non-parole period of 18 months.
He will be eligible for parole on October 5, 2018.
He was also ordered to pay $6500 under the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Act.
