Trishna Australia Pty Ltd which operates Jamaica Blue in Stockland Nowra was issued four penalty notices by Shoalhaven City Council through the Department of Primary Industries Food Authority.
The business was fined for failing to maintain the food premises to the required standard of cleanliness; failing to take all practicable measures to eradicate and prevent pests; failing to ensure floors are able to be effectively cleaned; and failing provide enough hand towels near hand washing facilities.
The alleged offences were issued on January 16 this year, with the penalty notice delivered on February 3.
Each offence carried a $880 fine.
Notification of the offences appeared on the Department of Primary Industries Food Authority website on March 21.
