Both first and second grade progressed straight through to their respective deciders, as both semi-finals were drawn due to wet conditions.
In first grade, the Magpies will take on Nowra at the Berry Sporting Complex, while they’ll take Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens at Hayden Drexel Oval in second grade.
The path wasn’t as easy for the Magpies third and fourth grade sides, having to win their respective matches at Zealand Oval at the weekend.
In third grade, the Magpies defeated Ex-Servos on first innings. The hosts won the toss, sending Ex-Servos to the crease, where they totalled 91 from their 51.4 overs. Ben Guyer top-scored with 24 while Daniel Watson ended with 3/15.
In reply, Berry posted 238 on the back of totals from Richard Brain (44), Aaron Coutts-Smith (43) and Benjamin Boyce-Mortlock (41). Pick of the bowlers for Ex-Servos was Scott Cusack with 3/22.
In their second innings, Ex-Servos finished at 9/53, thanks to five wickets from Richard Ingle. Berry will now take on Batemans Bay in the decider at Zealand Oval.
In fourth grade, the Magpies will take on Nowra in the decider, after defeating Ulladulla United Golds at the weekend.
Batting first, Ulladulla posted 186 on the back of Terry Dorrell’s 76 not out, but it wasn’t enough, as Berry chased it down (7/187) in the 75th over, with Richard Katon top-scoring with 39.
