Both sides were searching for their first win of the inaugural NAB AFL Women's season and the Dockers appeared on track, leading at every change and for the vast majority of the contest.
However, the Giants, in front of more than 4,000 home fans for the first time, mowed down their opponents with five second-half goals to leave the match tied at 7.1-43 to 6.7-43 – the first ever in the history of the women’s AFL.
The draw sees Collier, from Nowra, and her Giants move up into sixth position on the table, above Fremantle and Collingwood.
The Giants will now head to Brisbane, where they will take on the Lions at South Pine Sports Complex from 3.35pm on Saturday.
The Lions are yet to taste defeat, having won their opening three encounters.
