Argyle HR and Marketing director Andrina Graham said they will be providing meat to a South Korean home shopping network and a delegation from the network visited the local plant last week.
“That is going to be a huge revenue income for us and we are the first Australians to get into the Korean market selling single portioned trays of meat,” she said.
This Shoalhaven company is achieving many goals which is good news for the local economy.
“Argyle Meats is going very strongly and we have supermarkets we supply to in the export market and we are working with Coles, Aldi and the IGAs,” she said
The firm employees 60 people and with the export markets, distribution channels and the supermarkets onboard 20 to 40 more jobs could be created within the next six to 12 months.
Argyle Meats is also happy to support the proposed High Pressure Processing (HPP) tolling venture proposed for Bomaderry.
“Innovation is extremely important and you have to be on top of your game consistently. Technology is also extremely important nowadays and if you are not on top of the technology your competitor will be jumping on top of you,” she said.
HPP tolling, preserves fresh food at a cold temperature and so it’s chilled pasteurisation. Sydney based cold pressed juice business Botanica is behind the HPP proposal and recently got together with a group interested people, including former Prime Minster Tony Abbott.
