A St Georges Basin man has pleaded not guilty to allegedly selling five boats and trailers for more than $230,000 and not passing on the proceeds of the sale to the owners.

George Klapsis, 42, faced five charges of larceny as a bailee before registrar Craig Cockburn in Nowra Local Court on Monday.
Court papers stated between November 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014 at South Nowra Klapsis allegedly sold a 2007 Ebbtide Cubby Bowrider boat and trailer for $75,000.
It is also alleged he sold a 2009 Stingray boat and E2 loader trailer for $39,655 at South Nowra between March 11, 2013 and March 31, 2014; a 2000 Sleekline boat and Phantom trailer for $20,200 at South Nowra between March 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014; a Stingray boat and Road King trailer for $68,000 between November 1, 2013 and and March 31, 2014 at South Nowra; and a 2008 Stingray boat and Dunbier trailer for $31,388 between December 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014 at South Nowra.
The boats were owned by separate people and in each case it is alleged Klapsis failed to pass over the proceeds of the sale to the owners.
The combined value of the five sales was $234,243.
The matter will be back before the court on April 3.
