Originally slated to be held at Nowra-Culburra SLSC on Sunday, January 22, weather conditions forced the event to be postponed. This carnival will be the final tune-up for athletes ahead of the State Championships, which will be held at Swansea Belmont across the first two weekends in March.
South Coast Director of Surf Sports Dana Richards is expecting a big day of competition on Sunday.
“The day will start at 8.30am and we will have more than 350 juniors competing on the day,” she said.
“This will be followed in the afternoon, which will see more than 150 senior and masters competitors going at it in their respective events from 1-4pm.”
Shoalhaven clubs Mollymook and Nowra-Culburra will both have strong representations on the day. Results can be found at www.southcoastbranch.com.au/
