The ‘Classy Clowns’ Relay for Life team will be setting up a stall at Nowra Show on Saturday, February 11.
Fundraising for the Cancer Council, the team is almost halfway to their $10,000 target ahead of Nowra Relay for Life on March 25-26.
The Nowra Show stall will feature plenty of showbags for the kids, craft activities and lucky dips.
The Classy Clowns formed four years ago and is a popular attraction at the relay.
“People love it and we’ve even been asked quite a few times if people can hire us but we don’t actually do any clown tricks,” team captain Linda Kerr said.
Ms Kerr said the team team aims for $10,000 each year but usually raises around the $12,000 mark. Bowling nights and pie and cakes drives have all helped the team reach their target.
The group will be at the Nowra Show until around 6pm on February 11 – coulrophobia sufferers, you’ve been warned.
