The young Shoalhaven Heads resident is set to enjoy his first day of school and his sixth birthday.
He’s got the brand new uniform, the shiny shoes and the backpack, all ready to walk through the gates of Berry Public School.
Whilst mum Monique Miller said she’s “a little nervous,” she knows Tom will be in good hands with big sister and year two student, Matilda.
Tom said he’s also excited to be taking on those first steps with good friends Edward and Ewan from preschool.
Public schools across the region will open their doors again on Monday, January 30.
The NSW public school term will run for 10 weeks from January 30 to Friday, April 7.
