Nowra Green v North Nowra Cambewarra Maroons
Safe to say the Nowra Greens and North Nowra Cambewarra Maroons sides are two evenly matched teams, following their game at the Added Area on Saturday.
The Greens were sent into bat, made 106 runs and in what was a thrilling run chase Norths made 105 runs.
Mitchell Downey’s 27 runs, which included two boundaries, proved to be vital for Nowra and Rohan Beavan’s 13 runs was also a crucial knock.
Hayden Batson and Lucas Zerafa took two wickets for Norths and the attack, in general, bowled strongly.
Norths, with Samuel Neri looking strong, would had been confident of getting the runs but he ran out of partners.
