The Magpies were on top after day one, declaring at 7/249 on the back of Duncan Maddinson’s handy 65.
The visitors continued their momentum on day two where they rolled the hosts for 172 after 62.4 overs.
Basin’s Mick Perry tried hard with the willow, reaching 50 before being dismissed.
Perry received support from Santino Battagliolo (27) and Liam O'Brien (23) but the rest of his team struggled against one of the top bowling attacks in the competition.
The pick of the Magpies bowlers were Tom Dougall and Lachlan Maddinson, both who ended with three wickets, while Brian Gray finished with figures of 2/35.
After already claiming first innings points, Berry ended their second innings at 8/132, with Joel Gray top scoring with 31.
For Basin, the only multiple wicket taker was Shaun Brooks, who claimed 2/18.
The Magpies followed up this victory with a victory in their one-day semi-final against Ulladulla United on Sunday at the Berry Sporting Complex.
United won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a competitive total of 118 from 32.4 overs.
Gavin McCauley was the star with the bat, scoring 43, while Harley Bell (15) and Kyle Jarrett (14) both got starts.
With the ball, Brian Gray (3/7) and Glenn Brandon (3/25) were the chief destroyers for the hosts.
In reply, the hosts reached the target in the 26th over (4/120), thanks to 50 from James Fiedler and 36 from David Crapp. United’s Ellis Dale (2/21), Gavin McCauley (1/43) and Jamie Jones (1/12) all bowled well in the loss.
Berry will now play North-Nowra Camnewarra in the one-day final, after the latter defeated Nowra in the weekend’s other semi-final.
At the Nowra Showground, the hosts sent Norths in to bat first, which appeared to work in their favour, as the visitors were rolled for just 78 in the 31st over, thanks to four wickets from Luke Bowden and three from Jason Bell. But an exceptional bowling performance by Norths’ bowlers Harrison Temple, Hugh Gillen and Justin Weller saw the hosts rolled for just 69.
The final is on Sunday, January 29 at the Berry Sporting Complex.
