A man will face court after allegedly assaulting police following an incident at a hotel in Nowra on Friday.

About 11.25pm police allege a man failed to leave the vicinity of the Bridge Hotel, after being excluded from the premises.
When police spoke with the man it’s alleged he used offensive language towards them.
Police attempted to arrest the man who allegedly resisted them and kneed a female officer in the back.
The 36-year-old man was taken to Nowra Police Station where he was charged with excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises, behave in a offensive manner, resist police in the execution of duty and assault police.
He has been granted bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on 30 January.
