"When you see sport, it's big teams in the city, it's not usually kids," he says. "Picking a team out west who don't normally get much recognition just felt like something interesting, something that I wanted to explore."

Before each game they gather in a prayer circle and do a Catholic prayer followed by an Islamic prayer.

"It was one of those really candid, rushed pictures," he says. "I got in as close as I could without disturbing what they were doing."
