There seems to be a lot of work going on around the area on the roads and so here, thanks to the Shoalhaven City Council website, is a rundown on just some of the works.
Central Ave, South Nowra
Pavement reconstruction works are scheduled to be undertaken until December 16, weather permitting. During this time a single lane will operate under traffic lights or controllers. During reconstruction of the Bellevue St intersection, until December 13, the southern end of Bellevue St will be closed. Line marking will be completed in the week ending December 23.
Kinghorne Street, Nowra
Works to repair and reinstate the verge opposite the Nowra Police Station have been completed and the pathway has reopened.
Coolangatta Road Pavement Works
Pavement works were completed in November and Linemarking and tidy up works will be completed in the next few weeks.
Flinders Road and Princes Highway Intersection Realignment
Works are now complete, with the exception of permanent street lighting and additional guardrail at the bridge. Council crews are currently completing works within Rotary Park, removing trees and placing an all-weather gravel surface. Rotary Park was scheduled to be reopened yesterday (December 8).
Goorama Drive, Cambewarra Village
Replacement of sections of kerb and gutter from 10-16 had commenced and work is expected to be completed by December 16.

Further to the recent completion of a concrete shared path from the Bayswood subdivision, the remaining section of vehicular access track to the Vincentia Leisure Centre is being upgraded and expected to be sealed before Christmas.
Winnima Lane, Huskisson
Road pavement reconstruction is nearing completion, with footpath, and streetscape works continuing on adjoining Nowra and Beach Streets expected to be completed before Christmas. Sealing of new pavement works is anticipated after the Christmas break.
Myola Shared User Path
Contractors have recently completed construction of a two metre wide concrete pathway from Myola Road along the bushfire track finishing at the existing track to the beach which connects to Catherine Street.
Turpentine Road, Tomerong
