Berry Shoalhaven Heads, thanks to its strong top order, was able to record a comfortable victory over Nowra Green on Saturday at Zealand Oval One.
Berry batted first and its 7/173 was always going to take some chasing.
The Green machine tried hard but was all out for 82 runs.
Strong top order batsmen Alec Dobson 33 runs with six boundaries, Jasper Arnold 19 runs with three boundaries and Joshua Weakley 14 runs with three boundaries were all strong for Berry.
Charlie Manwaring and Rohan Beavan both took two wickets apiece for Nowra.
Lachlan Almond and Mitch Downey each blasted 20 runs for Nowra and both showed their fighting characters.
Max McCarron led the way with the ball for Berry with two wickets.
Ulladulla United v North Nowra Cambewarra Blues
Ulladulla United went about defeating North Nowra Cambewarra Blues at Frogs Hollow in a professional manner on Saturday.
United batted first and its 2/160 runs was going to take some chasing and the Blues were all out for 43 runs.
Tara Rudd 31 runs with four boundaries, Ben Clough 20 runs and Ryan Gilkes also with 20 runs all struck form for United.
Fergus Priest with seven runs top scored for Norths.
North Nowra Cambewarra Maroons v Nowra White
Nowra White discovered you can’t afford to give a team 72 runs when it took on North Nowra Cambewarra Maroons on Saturday at Bernie Regan Number Two.
The Maroons batted first and a large part of its 1/142 first innings total came from the 72 extras provided by the bowling team.
Nowra, in its innings, was all out for just 48 runs.
Lucas Zerafa top scored for Norths with 13 runs, while Hayden Batson and Samuel Neri had fun on their way to making 10 runs apiece.
Jack Langford top scored for Nowra with 10 runs and Hayden was the star with the ball for Norths with a four wicket haul.
Batemans Bay v Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens
Batemans Bay used the Surfside Main Two home ground to its advantage on Saturday by defeating Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens by eight wickets.
Exservos batted first and made a competitive 5/83 but the home side, for the loss of two wickets, took the competition points.
Kyeden Booth with 10 runs was the only batsman for Exservos who was able to get into double figures and Tane Morgans with nine runs was next best.
The dangerous Lachlan Malcolm, 25 runs with three boundaries, and Bailey Brady, 23 runs with four boundaries, guided the home team to victory.
