Joshua Paul Flood, 20, pleaded guilty to police pursuit, drive while disqualified, carrying a cutting weapon, assault and possessing a prohibited drug in Nowra Local Court on Monday.
Court papers said Flood was driving a car on Albatross Road at Nowra Hill in the early hours of June 24, when he attempted to do a u-turn at Calymea Street at speed but crashed into an embankment.
He was unable to free the vehicle and when police arrived he told them he was disqualified from driving until 2018.
He had previously been placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond and disqualified until 2018 after leading police on a pursuit while riding a Kawasaki motorcycle through East Nowra on October 8 2014.
Flood also pleaded guilty to common assault against a female on February 16, with carrying a silver pocket knife and possessing a prohibited drug after being found with .147 grams of methamphetamines at North Nowra on April 1.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming placed Flood on a 16-months’ suspended sentence.
