After winning the toss at Bomaderry Oval, the visitors elected to bat first.
Led by Dudgeon’s 53 and fellow opener Andrew Wright’s 36, the Magpies posted 172 from their 31 overs at the crease.
This was despite Justin Ganderton taking 7/44 and Kealen Blattner 3/15 for Bomaderry.
In reply, six of the hosts batsmen got starts, including Travis Roth’s 24 and Michael Blattner’s 20, but it wasn’t enough as they were dismissed in the 33rd over for 136.
Dale Lovatt led the way for the Magpies with 3/25, while Jack Gibbs chipped in 2/22.
At Sussex Inlet Oval, Sussex Inlet were phenomenal in their run chase against Nowra.
On the back of 67 from Alex Legge, the visitors posted 9/155 from their 40 overs.
Both Shane Bate and Jake Matthews took three wickets each for Sussex while Riley Jarrett chipped in two.
In reply, Bate led the way with a handy 49 not out and received assistance from Matthews and Jake Westley, who both scored 30.
On the back of these three innings, the hosts passed the total (5/166) in the 28th over.
Bowlers Tom White and Lachlan Adlington did what they could for Nowra, finishing with figures of 2/29 and 2/32 respectively.
At Sanctuary Point Oval, Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens made light work of Bay and Basin.
Batting first, the hosts could only muster 70 from their 32.2 overs.
Joshua Rickwood top scored with 30, as Paul Brett was the only other batsmen to reach double figures with 18.
Dylan Higgins-Bell dominated with the ball, taking 4/10, while Luke Stevenson (3/19) and Vimalkumar Patel (2/9) bowling strongly.
The visitors chased down the total (3/74) after 13.2 overs, thanks to 17 from both Luke Jurancic and Nick Prince.
Brett continued his strong game, claiming 2/21 with the ball.
The final match of the round, at Bernie Regan Sporting Complex, saw North Nowra Cambewarra defeat Batemans Bay.
After winnings the toss and batting, Norths’ Luke Huard (66) guided his team to 4/191 from their 40 overs.
Both Jack Carter (35) and Hayden Strand (31 not out) continued their strong form with the willow for Norths.
The wicket takers for the Bay were Matt Sethi, Liam Macpherson and Sam Lee.
In reply, Stephen Knight (27) and Sethi (30) did what they could but the Bay finished at 9/152 from their 40 overs.
Lachlan Mark led the way for Norths with 3/31 from his eight overs, while Bob Ducie took 2/14 from his six overs.
