Nowra Show Society held their annual presentation dinner on Saturday night, where Liberty Nelson was named the 2017 Nowra Showgirl and Rachael Spresser was named runner-up.

Miss Nelson said it was an incredible feeling to win.
“My stepmum was videoing the announcement and she said I actually looked genuinely surprised which I really was,” she said.
“It was a fantastic night.”
Miss Nelson hoped to increase her involvement in the community and with the Nowra Show.
“Having achieved this is great and whatever happens now will be an added bonus,” she said.
“I would tell other people, if it’s something they want to do then they should.
“It’s been a great experience.”
