NOWRA police got more than they bargained for when they pulled over a car on Wednesday afternoon, discovering $11,000 worth of methamphetamine or ice.

Around 3.20pm officers from the Target Action Group (TAG) pulled over a black Holden utility on the Princes Highway at Nowra near the intersection with Plunkett Street.
Officers spoke to the 42-year-old male driver from St Georges Basin and a search of the car found just over 11 grams of the drug.
The man was arrested and taken to the Nowra Police Station and charged with supplying a prohibited drug, supplying over an indictable but under commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited drug, having goods in custody suspected of being stolen and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail by police and is due to face Nowra Local Court on Thursday.
