“The person who taught me to fish was Charles Wooley, he also was the photographer and my guide was Greg Beecroft, he also let me and Charles in for the day and helped me get onto my first trout on the fly,” Sebastian reports.
“We started off on Lake Samuel, of the London Lakes. We put the boat in and fished wets for a few hours with no success, so we got out of the boat and drove to Lake Big Jim.
“We walked for about half a mile hunting for a fish to cast at, at last we came across a solid 5-pound brown. So Greg tied on a dry fly that I don't know the name of with a black beetle dropper 6 inches under that.
“It was a about the seventh time I cast the fly to the fish and we were about to give up but Greg told me to wait another minute or two and there you go, fish on.” It took the dropper!
“The whole time I had the fish on they kept telling me to put my rod up and luckily after about five minutes I successfully landed the fish with the help of Greg of course. After a few photos I put him back to fight another day.”
