The group plans to propagate mangroves at the nursery and plant out the 200 trees left over from last year along the bank.
If there are enough volunteers, they will also construct some sand sausage on the western end of the golf course. A barbecue will follow.
The group had a very successful stand and river tours at the Shoalhaven River Festival on the weekend.
“Thank you everyone who came and lent a hand - it really helps when there are lots of helpers,” Riverwatch’s Peter Jirgins said.
“We have some new volunteers as a result and the politicians are very impressed with the work Riverwatch has done in the past led by Charlie and John Tate.”
