The project is steered by locally based singer/director Annette Tesoriero.
She will be joined by choreographer/director Philip Channells, who lives in the Northern Rivers region but who has a long association with Bundanon Trust.
They will be joined by composer Damian Barbeler, from Sydney.
The project will start with a series of conversations in November 2016 between the directors and interested locals and will evolve through a workshop program, a series of presentations and a dynamic large-scale performance in May 2019.
This is a slow-burn project that will evolve and grow over three years and spring up in a number of locations.
Bundanon Trust are looking for people who are interested in sharing their knowledge and skills, in being social and creative and are up for trying something new.
The project will incorporate story telling, song, dance, music, video and kuppachats (tea and conversation).
Participants are able to be involved in a number of different ways – behind the scenes or in the limelight; it will be completely up to them.
The project will be a collaborative effort and will be shaped by everyone who decides to be part of it.
