Loveday capped of a great night at Saturday’s presentation, by also claiming the under 18s best and fairest award.
Other under 18s award went to Dean Watling (best back), Rocco Battagliolo (best forward), Luke Colgate (most consistent) and Lloyd Herron (coaches award).
Maddy Farrell took out the best and fairest award for the Dolphins’ Women’s League Tag.
Mae Gould claimed the best in attack award for the women while Shantelle Jarvis took out the best in defence prize. Katie Locke was rewarded by her peers, taking out the player’s player award while Hayley Mundy received the coaches award.
Tim O'Connell was named best and fairest of the grand final winning third grade team, who made history in their first season in the Group 7 competition.
Lynden Booth took out best forward of third grade, while Josh Power-Farrell was named best back. The other two third grade awards went to Shane Scarcella (most improved) and Mark Sheather (coaches award).
Roy Mills from Group 7 was at the awards and presented captain, Josh Power-Farrell and coach Darryll Farrell a plaque to commemorate, that never in the 90-year history of Group 7 rugby league has a team entered the competition and won the premiership in same year. Scott Reay was also recognised on the night for 100 games with the Dolphins.
