A WORRIGEE man charged with two armed hold-ups and a break and enter at a surf store in the Shoalhaven over a four-day period has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Adam Wellington, 30, was charged with two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon following an alleged hold-up at the United Service Station (Log Cabin) at Tomerong last Monday and the alleged hold-up and theft of a maxi taxi in Nowra on Friday night.
The court heard Wellington was armed with a pair of scissors when he allegedly robbed a Nowra taxi driver of $210 and then took the vehicle between 6 and 6.30pm on October 21, with co-accused Rachelle Alexander.
Wellington was also charged with aggravated assault with intent to take motor vehicle armed with a weapon.
He also faces a further charge of robbery armed with an offensive weapon following the alleged hold-up of the United Service Station at Tomerong between 7.38am and 9am on October 17.
Police alleged he was armed with a 15 centimetre knife and made off with $280 cash.
He was also charged with aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence following the alleged break-in at the Busted Surf Co store in Culburra Beach on October 20.
Bail was not applied for and was formally refused by Magistrate Gabriel Fleming and he will reappear in court on December 20.
His co-accused Rachelle Alexander, 34, of Nowra is charged with robbery in company and aggravated assault with intent to take motor vehicle in company, following the alleged theft of the maxi taxi in Nowra.
She also faces a charge of larceny after allegedly being captured on CCTV and by police stealing women’s shoes, handbags and clothing from the Salvation Army collection area at South Nowra shortly after midnight on October 4.
Her bail has been continued and she will also be back in court on December 20.
