The business which recently relocated to Bridge Road, Nowra held a networking event for teachers, support workers, preschool educators, health professionals, disability service providers and carers.
“It was a chance to show off our new facilities,” principal Sheridan Wicks said “and to allow them to see our new large therapy room with its diverse range of equipment.”
“We take a holistic family centred and play based approach to identify the causes and difficulties children may be having in a variety of areas. From fine and gross motor skills, kids having trouble with reading, writing, concentrating and socialising.”
They also work with children experiencing difficulties with emotional regulation, sensory processing, planning and problem solving.
“We try and make it fun,” said Sheridan, who is joined at the business by fellow OTs Jessica Hannan and Lauren Graffin.
Jigsaw can also work within the home, school and community environments in individual and group sessions.
