Fifth annual Albatross Show-N-Shine attracts good entries and crowds

More than 200 cars and a number of motorbikes put on a spectacular show at the fifth annual Albatross Show-N-Shine on Sunday.

Car and bike lovers were in seventh heaven at the show held on Tom Smith Oval at Albatross, adjacent to the at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

Holdens, Fords, VW, MGs, Minis, Chevs, Mustangs, roadsters, hot rods of all descriptions, historic and modern cars were on display. There was even a 1961 Ford Thunderbird convertible.

Even the weather came to the party, after a wet,  cold  miserable  Saturday, Sunday was fine and warm despite a strong wind and a threat of rain.

Good crowds attended the show which raises money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Australian Leukodystrophy Support Group Inc (ALDS).
