A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have been charged over the carjacking and armed robbery of a taxi driver in Nowra.

After picking up the pair about 6.30pm on Friday, the driver, 37, was told to stop the cab in Pleasant Way.
The male passenger allegedly threatened the driver with a pair of scissors, demanding money and subsequently stealing the taxi. The driver was left in the street.
Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.
A police dog was in attendance and was able to track the man and woman, who were arrested at the scene and taken to Nowra Police Station.
The man was charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon, aggravated assault with intent to take/drive motor vehicle armed with weapon, aggravated break & enter and commit serious indictable offence in company.
The woman was charged with robbery in company, aggravated assault with intent to take/drive motor vehicle.
They were both refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Saturday.
