The event started with a wonderful parade down Junction Street and despite the wet condition good sized crowd cheered the parade entrants on.
The parade featured all sorts of community groups and all the vintage cars were great to see.
Ron McKinnon led his famous bullock team down the street which is always special.
From the parade people headed down to the river bank for a day of fun and food.
Some of the best wakeboarders in Australia also thrilled the crowd.
The festival continues tomorrow (Sunday October 23) with a wakesurf exhibition from 9.45am, more markets from 10am, a river pirate’s and mermaid’s picnic from 10am, the colour run from 11.30am and lots more.
