Starting on Tuesday Mr Wallis will ride from Nowra to Mt Kosciusko and then plans to back up the following week by doing the Sydney to Gong ride as well.
“A mean feat for a bunch of guys who don’t normally ride bikes,” he said.
Mr Wallis is part of a team from the Illawarra and Shoalhaven taking on Australia’s biggest summit to raise $100k all for MS Research Australia.
The ride starts at North Nowra Tavern at 8am on Tuesday and and finished on top of Mt Kosciuszko.
That is 400 kilometres over five days in the bike saddle reaching an elevation of 7000 metres.
On Tuesday Mr Wallis and the team ride to Nerriga Hotel. They then head to Majors Creek and later Alpine Hotel in Cooma.
“We plan to arrive in Jindabyne on Friday night and make the toughest trip to the top on Saturday October 29.’’

- Jindabyne to Kosciusko Summit – 59.2km – 2216m climbing
