The Shoalhaven Shark Tank held in August saw Bishops South Nowra offer materials, garden beds and their guidance to to men currently residing at the site.
The men were given advice on how to keep the garden looking beautiful and were also offered two weeks of work experience at Bishops.
Given newfound skills, the men are now equipped with knowledge on how to grow and cook their own food.
Run by St Vincent de Paul, the Shoalhaven Men’s Homeless Service gives men aged 21 and over who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless the chance of having their name on a lease to build their rental history and get back on their feet.
